Blog 13: Hit the Jackpot 259 Words

I just won the lottery jackpot and it was $10 million. Since I am a nice guy I decided to donate $5 million to a charity of my choice. The charity I chose to donate to was the animal abuse charity, where they work together to stop animal abuse in the United States. I decided to use the rest of the money, except for $1 million I put in a safe to save it for later. I decided to buy some land in the country. It is 200 acres and has a creek that runs through a corner of the land. It also has a huge lake that has fish. I wanted fishing locations on my land. After spending money on that I built my awesome house with a huge garage, an indoor gym, which has a dodge ball arena, a game room and a lot of other rooms. My room is two levels. It has a living room in the bottom level with a mini-kitchen. The top level is my bedroom level. It has my bed, a big flat screen TV on the wall and the bathroom is on the second level too. I also bought my dream car, which is a camaro and I customized it to be red with a black strip on the top. The interior is red and black and has a rockin’ stereo system. I bought a huge pool with a tall slide and a diving board and a hot tub; all with a jungle theme. I wish I would win the lottery.

Blog 12: What event has made you happy? 251 Words

One time I went to Six Flags. I went with my cousins, aunt and uncle. We left early in the morning and drove all the way to St. Louis. When we got near Six Flags I could see the roller coasters and water slides. It looked really fun. Once we arrived at Six Flags we found out we didn’t have enough coupons but this lady came up and gave us one. We still didn’t have enough money, but the same lady came back and gave us another coupon because she had extras. She was a very generous lady. Once we were in the park I could hear the roller coaster roaring as they flew by on their tracks. I was scared of roller coasters and never rode one before. My cousin really loved roller coasters, so she was riding them. There was this one roller coaster that was a Tony Hawk Skateboarding Roller Coaster. I thought it looked fun and decided I wanted to ride it. So I did and it was the most fun I ever had. After that I decided to ride others. I rode the Batman and it was really fast ride. I wanted a more fun one. Then we found the Evel Knievel one. Evel Knievel was the best roller coaster there in my opinion. It was fast but really long so I enjoyed it. After that we ate Papa John's and relaxed. That day made me very happy because I learned how fun roller coasters are.

Blog 11: Topic #73 From the Creative Writing Prompts Website 276 Words

Buddy woke up suddenly one night in Florida. He awoke from loud banging noises coming from outside. He leaned over and peered into his clock. It read: 12:09am. His mom rushed it his room and said,”Buddy wake up! There is a hurricane coming! We have to board up the windows!” As Buddy stood up the power went out. Luckily, he had a flashlight on his bed side table. He picked up the flash light got dressed and followed his mom to the garage. There was a stack of plywood lying in the corner. Buddy and his mom picked up some boards and went and boarded up the windows. Buddy looked outside through the peephole in their front door. “Mom I left the lawn mower outside!”Buddy yelled. “Buddy! We have to get it!” his mom responded. Buddy ran out to their garage and pushed the button to open the garage door. It raised and he ran outside. The wind blew him back and the rain stung his face. The trees looked like they were about to snap and trash flew through the air like missiles. Suddenly the tree in their front yard snapped. The tree was falling directly in Buddy’s path. At the last second Buddy dove out of the way of the falling tree, but the lawn mower didn’t make it. It was smashed to a million pieces. “Get back here, Buddy! It’s too dangerous!” Buddy’s mom yelled form the garage. Buddy booked it back to the house and him and his mom got in a room with no windows and waited out the storm. “Next time don’t leave the lawn mower outside,” Buddy’s mom joked.

Blog 10: Memory Erasing Drugs 252 Words

John Hopkins University School of Medicine is making a memory erasing pill. That is kind of weird, I think. When I read this I thought to myself, how? It’s kind of weird how people can make anything they want to. I think this pill should not be one on the shelf. It should be an over the counter prescription, if they decide to sell it to the public. This pill could erase other memories too, you would think. How did they get it to target just bad memories? This pill could be stolen and someone could try to take advantage of this pill and erase people’s memories with it. So these pills are kind of unneeded for life. Hypnosis and therapy would probably be more help than this memory erasing pill. The pill should be used for only very severe cases of traumatized people. The pros would be that the person taking it wouldn’t have to remember things that made them go crazy or remember some very horrific scenes. You would think it would erase other bad memories that taught you a lesson or allowed you to tell a story to inform other people. I don’t think this drug is necessary for people, because I think it would cause more harm than good. Some other questions I have been thinking of are: How did they test it or how did they find the chemical to do this? There are a lot of medical mysteries out there. Some things just make you wonder.
